Melanie says their open floorplan kitchen, living and dining area is the before and after workspace, a sanctuary for them to get away from work, while the second bedroom is now ‘office central.’ “We each have separate calls to make and meetings throughout our workday and we’re making it work,” says Melanie. To change things up, we take five and 10-minute breaks throughout the day which keeps us from going stir-crazy,” she adds.
As for Melanie and Angelo’s home office space, they’ve focused on making it as efficient as possible. They purchased additional monitors, docking stations, printer and shredder – and they always use headphones with built-in microphones; everything they need to effectively get their work done.
