Kokes Properties Now Pre-Leasing The Mill at Riverside Apartments
RIVERSIDE, NJ – Riverside’s newest luxury rental community is taking shape as Kokes Properties begins pre-leasing apartments at The Mill at Riverside, a modern redevelopment of the historic Taubel’s Mill property.
The 64-unit apartment building is nearing completion and will be ready for Summer 2022 occupancy. The 1- and 2- bedroom apartment homes feature energy-efficient design with the latest appliances from leading brands. Vinyl flooring, quartz countertops, locally made cabinetry and keyless entry give each unit the contemporary feel that residents seek in a luxury rental.
Kokes Properties previously completed two townhome buildings in the first phase of construction at The Mill at Riverside and quickly leased all 22 units. The townhomes received significant interest for their spacious layouts, private garages, and the property’s attractive location and amenities.
The Mill at Riverside’s 3,000-square-foot clubhouse is on track to open in September 2022 and will include a fitness center along with additional shared amenities. The final phases of development will add 104 more apartments, eventually bringing the total unit count to 190 upon completion. Residents moving into the apartment building will see their new community become more vibrant by the day.
“Riverside was initially named ‘Progress’ when it was first settled, and that’s what we’re pursuing on a larger scale than just the property itself,” said Matthew Stephens, Vice President of Development for Kokes Properties. “This township has a rich history that we want to honor by redeveloping Taubel’s Mill thoughtfully and genuinely while making a meaningful contribution to the future.”
While evoking appreciation for the past, The Mill at Riverside offers the ideal living situation for the present, providing comfort and convenience for hybrid work in the Philadelphia area. From The Mill, residents can get to Center City Philadelphia in 30 minutes by car. Downtown Riverside and the Riverside Light Rail Station are both within walking distance. And for those working from home full-time, a functional living space lends room for a dedicated workspace.
A symbol of America’s industrial strength and the Philadelphia region’s largest employer during the early 20th century, William F. Taubel’s Hosiery Mill provided inspiration for the design of The Mill at Riverside. After acquiring the vacant parcel where Taubel’s Mill once stood before it was demolished, Kokes Properties spent the early design phases referencing archived photographs and envisioning subtle architectural nods.
